Job description

We're seeking a dynamic, customer-obsessed Senior Product Manager to own strategic initiatives that make Amazon's North America stores the preferred shopping destination for Spanish and French-speaking customers.
Enhancing the shopping experience for customers who prefer Spanish (Amazon.com) or French (Amazon.ca) is a critical business priority and significant growth opportunity. This role requires understanding the complete customer journey to identify engineering and localization gaps across search relevance, product content, post-purchase support, and more-then driving solutions to address these pain points. You'll also envision innovative experiences leveraging AI/ML and generative AI technologies to deliver personalized, culturally relevant shopping experiences that delight our customers.
The ideal candidate is a proven, well-rounded problem solver who thrives in fast-paced retail environments. You'll lead both strategically and tactically, diving deep into business and technical domains to unlock opportunities and course-correct as needed. Success requires strong analytical skills, adaptability, and the ability to influence across functional teams and senior leadership. You must possess the leadership presence and communication skills to drive meaningful change while working with global business and technology partners.
Key job responsibilities
Primary responsibilities will include:
• Effectively work back from the customer to define the ambiguous into meaningful problem statements and solutions
• Build roadmaps that prioritize development based on business impact
• Calculate quantitative value for prioritization and development justification
• Manage the end-to-end development process from problem identification, requirements gathering, solution design, coding, and implementation
• Communicate complex requirements, project status, and tradeoffs, across tech and business stakeholders spanning all organization levels
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience as a product manager or owner
- Experience owning technology products
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
- Master's degree or above in Management, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or Marketing
- Experience with data and analysis tools including Microsoft Excel and SQL
- Usage of generative AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency, with a willingness to learn effective prompting and evaluation practices
- Ability to recognize opportunities where generative AI could enhance products, workflows, or customer experiences
- Fluency in Spanish or French

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
