Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Localization Assistant Intern to support day-to-day project coordination and operations across localization projects. The role will assist with project tracking, content tagging, database maintenance, quality assurance, and cross-functional communication between our local and China-based teams.

The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. A strong interest in vertical content, storytelling, and digital entertainment is highly preferred

Responsibilities:

    • Localization Project Coordination: Support Chinese-to-English script localization projects by confirming project requirements, tracking progress, coordinating deadlines, collecting feedback, and ensuring timely communication across teams.
    • Script Analysis & Content Tagging: Review scripts and related content to categorize and tag materials according to internal guidelines, supporting content organization and localization workflows.
    • Localization QA & Tracking: Assist with quality assurance checks to identify inconsistencies, missing information, formatting issues, or other localization-related concerns; maintain accurate project tracking throughout the workflow.
    • Database & Content Management: Maintain and update localization trackers, translation databases, content metadata, and other internal databases to ensure information remains accurate, organized, and up to date.
    • Cross-Border Communication: Facilitate day-to-day communication between local teams and China-based stakeholders, including project updates, feedback collection, requirement clarification, and deadline coordination.
    • Operational Support: Provide flexible administrative and operational support for evolving localization and project needs.

Requirements

    • Fluency in both English and Mandarin Chinese.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and similar productivity tools.
    • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and self-motivated mindset.
    • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
    • Strong sense of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
    • Interest in vertical content, storytelling, digital media, or entertainment is preferred.
