  • Verify all loan and deposit application approval conditions are satisfied in accordance with department procedures prior to closing.
  • Book loan and deposit applications and ensure accurate and timely disbursement of funds to dealerships, other financial institutions, members and private sellers.
  • Support Direct Loan Processing Coordinator by gathering information, researching records, following up on details, and assessing needs efficiently; communicate findings to the requesting party to support and maintain profitable relationships.
  • Respond to incoming telephone inquiries regarding direct loans from internal departments, members and SCCU team members by providing timely status updates and resolving questions.
  • Provide promptly to branch inquiries regarding loan documentation; maintain availability in the call queue to ensure timely handling of member calls; prepare corrections as needed to support branch and member requirements and ensure documentation accuracy.
  • Adhere to established productivity and loan quality standards to meet service-level expectations.
  • Support the sales efforts of the Express Sales team by providing members with appropriate product and service information to strengthen the overall SCCU cooperative/member relationship.
  • Communicate effectively in person, by phone, and in writing, expressing ideas clearly and concisely while adhering to established member service standards.
  • Adapt effectively to changing environments by adjusting work style and priorities, responding quickly to new situations, and reorganizing tasks to address urgent needs.
  • Demonstrating strong self-motivation and independent problem-solving skills with minimal supervision, to maximize productivity, efficiency, and member satisfaction; recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and outcomes.
  • Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality, as these are essential functions of the role.

About SCCU

Since 1951, Space Coast Credit Union (SCCU) has proudly served our community, growing to over 685,000 members and managing $9 billion in assets. With 67 branches spanning Florida's east coast, we are the third-largest credit union in the state. In 2025, we expanded into Orange County to better serve the growing East Orlando market.

As a not-for-profit financial institution, SCCU is dedicated to putting our members first. Unlike traditional banks, we return profits to our members through better rates, lower fees, and enhanced services. While we offer the same financial products—like checking, savings, and loans—our focus remains on empowering our members and supporting their financial well-being. With local decision-making and a commitment to exceptional service, we strive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.

At SCCU, we also prioritize our team members by fostering a supportive and collaborative environment that encourages career growth and development. As we continue to grow, we are seeking talented, member-focused professionals to join our team and help deliver innovative financial solutions and outstanding service.
