Job description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Loan Processor to focus on supporting residential mortgage loan activities from application intake through documentation review and coordination with underwriting. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in loan processing, escrow-related tasks, and client file management while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities:

• Process residential mortgage loan files by reviewing incoming information and organizing each stage of the workflow from submission to follow-up.

• Enter borrower application details into the appropriate systems with a high level of accuracy and completeness.

• Obtain and review credit information to support loan evaluation and next-step decision-making.

• Partner with underwriting staff by preparing files, clarifying outstanding items, and helping move loans forward efficiently.

• Collect required borrower documentation and follow up with clients to ensure files remain complete and up to date.

• Manage title-related paperwork and maintain orderly loan records to support processing and closing activities.

• Support servicing functions associated with residential and mortgage loans while adhering to established procedures.

• Coordinate with internal teams and external parties to help keep loan files progressing on schedule.

• At least 2 years of experience in mortgage processing, loan administration, or a closely related loan support function.

• Working knowledge of residential mortgage loan workflows, including application handling, documentation review, and file coordination.

• Familiarity with pulling credit information and assisting with mortgage loan underwriting activities.

• Understanding of loan origination, loan servicing, and mortgage closing practices.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple loan files and maintain accurate records.
