POSITION SUMMARY: Provides a variety of loan support duties, primarily reviewing loan files for compliance with Bank policies, procedures, and regulations. Assists in providing efficient, effective, accurate, and professional services to internal team members, and customers as required. Responds to inquiries and problem solves loan related issues. PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Reviews documentation to ensure appropriate lending approvals were received. Ensures compliance requirement are satisfied, approval conditions were met, collateral is collected with evidence of insurance when applicable, and documentation is properly executed after loan closing and funding. Coordinates the contacting of customers to obtain missing documentation with lending team.Verifies accuracy of data used for the completion of loan documentation. Notes exceptions to loan policy. Prepares files for imaging, reviews and maintains loan documentation and account information for all types of loans. Processes weekly information and documentation received from the Branch locations.Generates and reviews document exception reports and provides to appropriate parties. Following up on those items that need to be investigated.Completes due diligence and compliance related searches on borrowers and collateral. Ensures appropriate loan fees were assessed and payments to third parties are processed.Verifies and moves loan documentation in imaging to appropriate files.Process and typing of denied loan notices, and small claims court filings.Provides customer service by assisting customers regarding loan payments, and answers questions from internal and external customers, and troubleshoots issues.Keeps track of received data and source documents. Remains highly informed on current Bank policy and related rules and regulations.Cross trains other team members for back-up support as needed.Other duties as assigned.
