Job Title: Assistant, Loading Dock (Part Time)
Department: Stadium Security
Reports To: Coordinator, Loading Dock
Location: Northwest Stadium (Hyattsville, MD - On-site)
Job Summary:
The Assistant, Loading Dock will support daily mailroom and freight operations at Northwest Stadium, including access control, visitor processing through the Visitor Management System, and handling/screening of mail, packages, and deliveries. This role helps maintain a secure environment by verifying credentials, screening personnel and deliveries, and ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily operations by ensuring the screening, sorting, and detailed logging of all incoming mail, freight, and packages
  • Support security protocols by conducting screening for all staff and vendors/contractors
  • Distribute mail and deliveries to designated departments
  • Assist with dock operations during concerts, events, and NFL games
  • Coordination with vendors, carriers, and internal teams
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dock and mailroom areas
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Loading Dock Coordinator

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Prior experience in a mail, warehouse, logistics setting is preferred
  • X-Ray and mailroom training certification
  • Proficient in the operation and use of various software applications (including Word, Excel and Outlook) and eagerness to learn new systems
  • CCTV and Access Control experience

Working Conditions:
  • Monday-Friday: 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM (Weekends/Concert or NFL Home Game)
  • Ability to lift and move equipment 60lbs or higher
  • Ability to operate forklift/pallet jack
  • Valid state driver's license required
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to perform duties with alignment to the Commanders Core Values
