Job description

Summary The Dock and Door Apprentice will work out of our Atlanta Branch. They will work with the senior technician on a daily basis to aid with planned maintenance service on Loading Docks and learn other repairs. They will also receive training from the training staff.

Job Description The Dock and Door Apprentice will work in the field with senior technicians assisting at various customer locations. The Apprentice will be assigned various tasks related to equipment maintenance. They will also receive on the job training from senior technicians as well as the Dock and Door Trainer.

Provide our customers with professional installation and repair of all types of Loading Dock Equipment and Accessories. Ensure that our customers are safe and in compliance with ANSI Regulations as they relate to safety at the Loading Dock. Requirements Skills/Responsibilities Able to operate scissor lift or forklifts (we will train and certify) Be knowledgeable of all OSHA/ANSI regulations as they pertain to loading dock equipment Be able to fill out and complete work orders.

Paperwork and documentation must be neat, clean, legible and organized. Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs. (and occasionally in excess of 100 lbs.) Must have excellent driving record Upkeep and safe operation of service vehicle Effectively communicate with customers, co-workers and management Work Experience Requirements Entry level, company will provide training Education/Certification/License Requirements High School Diploma/GED
