If you find purpose in guiding teams who serve others, this is the role for you. Hope Community Resources is seeking a Resident Manager to join our team in Anchorage, Alaska.

Hope Community Resources, Inc. is a non-profit disabilities service provider based in Anchorage, Alaska. Founded in 1968, our company provides services and supports to people of all ages and abilities who experience an intellectual, developmental, or other disability, traumatic brain injury, or mental health challenge.

As our Resident Manager, you will manage an assisted living home for multiple residents. Everyday we'll rely on you to supervise other staff working in the home, coordinate the care of your support recipients, and ensure compliance requirements. To thrive in this role, you should have experience providing personal care and have a passion to create a vibrant, fun-loving, and compassionate home environment for your support recipients.

Position Schedule & Additional Details

This is a live-in shared position with a rotating schedule:

  • 1 week as Resident Manager / 1 week off

  • During the off week, the Resident Manager will work as an Individual Support Associate (ISA) based on staffing needs

  • Resident Manager schedule: 6:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m., 7 days per week during the scheduled week

  • The home has awake overnight staff

Home Support Responsibilities Include:

  • Supporting the individuals who live in the home

  • Providing assistance with personal hygiene needs for one individual

  • Supporting toileting needs throughout the night as needed

  • Monitoring kitchen safety and household routines

  • Helping maintain a safe, positive, and supportive home environment

  • Working collaboratively with overnight staff and the support team to ensure quality services are provided
