Oakbrook Corporation is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Assistant Property Manager to join our team at Prairie Brook Apartments, a beautiful 153-unit apartment community in Oregon, Wisconsin. In this role, you will support the daily operations of the property by assisting with resident relations, leasing activities, maintenance coordination, and administrative responsibilities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems, and building a rewarding career in property management.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with leasing efforts, marketing initiatives, and apartment toursRespond promptly and professionally to resident questions and concernsCoordinate maintenance requests and communicate with vendors and contractorsConduct property inspections to ensure cleanliness, curb appeal, and safety standards are maintainedPrepare and maintain reports, including traffic reports, marketing updates, and market surveysSupport rent collection, lease administration, and resident file managementAssist with resident retention programs and community eventsEnsure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and company policiesCollaborate with the Property Manager to support daily operations and achieve occupancy goalsMaintain accurate records and provide excellent customer service to prospective and current residentsQualificationsPrevious experience in property management, leasing, sales, office administration, or customer service preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsPositive attitude and commitment to providing exceptional customer serviceExcellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesDetail-oriented and able to work independently and as part of a teamProficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software is a plusAbility to perform regular property inspections, with or without reasonable accommodationWhy Oakbrook?At Oakbrook Corporation, we believe great communities start with great people.
