Weekend Live-In Caregiver (Friday–Monday | 8:00 AM–8:00 PM)

Job Overview

Open Arms Solutions is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Live-In Caregiver to provide quality care and support to clients in their homes. This position requires a caregiver who is committed to promoting client independence, safety, dignity, and overall well-being.

Schedule

  • Live-In Position

  • Friday through Monday

  • 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Responsibilities

  • Provide total care assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene

  • Assist with transfers, mobility, and ambulation

  • Provide compassionate dementia and memory care support

  • Support clients receiving hospice and end-of-life care

  • Assist with incontinence care and maintain proper hygiene

  • Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed

  • Provide companionship and emotional support

  • Perform light housekeeping and laundry

  • Follow care plans and agency policies to ensure quality care

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience within the last 2 years

  • Previous live-in caregiving experience required

  • Experience providing dementia and memory care

  • Experience with hospice and end-of-life care

  • Experience providing incontinence care

  • Experience assisting clients requiring total care with ADLs

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Compassionate, patient, dependable, and professional

  • Ability to pass background screening and meet employment requirements
