Job description

We are seeking a Front Desk Agent who will handle a variety of duties in a busy office. We are looking for someone that has open availability for any of the following shifts. 7a-3p, 3p-11p or 11-8 shifts. The right candidate will possess a friendly demeanor and enjoy engaging with customers, as well as performing clerical work such as filing, photocopying and faxing. We're also looking for individuals who have experience utilizing computers and are comfortable working in a hotel environment. Experience is mandatory.  

Responsibilities:

  • Answer calls from prospective guests
  • Book and register rooms over the phone, in person, or online
  • Keep records of room availability and guests' accounts
  • Check guests in and assist guests with their needs
  • Make room adjustments as needed
  • Stock snacks, beverages, and other items available for purchase
  • Arrange maintenance repairs
  • Gather and respond to requests or complaints from guests
  • Responsible for all duties to meet guests needs

Qualifications
- Customer service experience in a hospitality setting
- Proficiency in front desk operations and guest services
- Strong communication skills and phone etiquette
- Ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently
- Knowledge of guest relations
