Job description

Live with and support 2 men with developmental disabilities in their home

Must be at home Sunday-Thursday overnights 10p-8:30a (Sunday starts at 9p)

Additional hours possible to get to full-time

Near Airport - FREE RENT!

Responsibilities:

  • Build a trusting relationship with the men based on respect, empathy, and understanding
  • Follow individualized support plans to make sure they get what they need to be safe
  • Help one of the men with personal care and ambulation; the other with reminders for hygiene
  • Help with the morning routine, healthy meals, and cleaning

Qualifications:

  • Valid Wisconsin driver license
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassion, patience, and understanding of individuals with diverse needs
