Job description

Key Personnel is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant for a law firm in the Tulsa, OK area.

Litigation Legal Assistant Pay: $50,000 – $55,000 annually DOE

Litigation Legal Assistant Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

Litigation Legal Assistant Responsibilities:

• Draft, format, proofread, and prepare legal documents including pleadings, motions, complaints, summonses, subpoenas, correspondence, and memoranda
• Prepare redlines, revisions, and document comparisons as directed by attorneys
• Ensure proper grammar, spelling, formatting, and compliance with court requirements
• Conduct basic legal and procedural research, including local court rules and filing requirements
• Prepare and submit e-filings and manage both electronic and paper filing processes
• Manage and maintain attorney calendars, including court deadlines, docketing, meetings, depositions, and travel arrangements
• Track case deadlines and ensure timely completion of filings and assignments
• Open new client matters, request conflict checks, and maintain accurate client records
• Maintain electronic and physical case files in accordance with firm procedures
• Process incoming/outgoing mail, scan and route documents, and coordinate courier or overnight deliveries
• Communicate professionally with clients, attorneys, court staff, vendors, and opposing counsel
• Support attorneys with day-to-day administrative and clerical needs
• Process check requests and assist with general office coordination tasks
• Collaborate with other legal assistants and staff to provide overflow and backup support as needed
• Assist with trial preparation including exhibit organization, Bates labeling, redaction, and trial binders
• Prepare discovery materials, document productions, and case files for hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials
• Coordinate logistics for meetings, depositions, and court-related events

Litigation Legal Secretary Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of litigation legal assistant or legal support experience required
• Strong knowledge of litigation procedures, court filings, and e-filing systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat Pro
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to grammar and detail
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines, prioritize tasks, and work in a fast-paced environment
• High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Litigation Legal Secretary Work Environment:
• Professional law firm setting with frequent interaction with attorneys, clients, and court personnel
• High-volume workload requiring accuracy, flexibility, and strong attention to deadlines
• Occasional overtime may be required based on case needs

Litigation Legal Secretary Physical Requirements:
