Regional Finance Manager

Reports to: Senior Director of Major Gifts

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

EMILY's List, the nation's largest resource for women in politics, is searching for a Regional Finance Manager to join our Major Gifts team. The Regional Finance Manager cultivates support from mid-level donors and manages fundraising events across the country.

Essential Job Functions

  • Develop and execute a fundraising strategy to recruit and renew mid-level (or Majority Council) donors, who contribute $1,000 $5,000 per year.
  • Manage a portfolio of donors with the capacity to give between $5,000 and $25,000
  • Solicit gifts from existing and prospective donors in designated states through personalized outreach, including one on one meetings, events, and phone calls.
  • Regularly performs research to identify prospective donors.
  • Build and maintain relationships with supporters to keep them engaged and informed, through personal outreach.
  • Manage fundraising events, including working with hosts, preparing materials, identifying potential donors, conducting outreach and follow-up, and maintaining organized and accurate records.
  • Collaborate with the Events team to ensure all logistical needs at events are met.
  • Work with Regional Finance Directors to plan and track donor outreach and engagement as appropriate, including for regional events.
  • Adapt to shifting demands and priorities based on event schedules and upcoming elections, including potential travel and occasional work on nights and weekends.

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate will have two to four years of fundraising, event planning, campaign, or political experience.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Raiser's Edge or another contact management database is a plus.
  • All candidates should possess commitment and passion to elect Democratic pro-choice Women, as well as a commitment to the diversity of our candidates, membership, partners, and staff.

The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $79,100 and comes with a comprehensive benefits package. The starting pay for this position is equal to others at the same level throughout the organization. If you are selected for an interview, you will be contacted directly. No calls, please.

Our office is based in Washington, DC. This position is based in our DC office with a hybrid schedule requiring at least 3 days per week in office.
