Location: New York, NY

Description:
TiVo's Advertising group spans a wide range of media solutions, including enabling entertainment advertisers, agencies, content providers and marketers to reach consumers in “search and discovery mode” - when they are highly receptive to advertising. Our Guide Advertising, Sponsored Discovery, and CTV solutions appear as content choices in interactive program guides, in-app on smart TVs and nestled within the search and recommendations of a consumers' user experience. These ideal placements make TiVo a perfect complement to today's overall TV media buys.
Summary:
The Advertising Research Analyst works closely with the Advertising Director , Analytics & Insights to support the Advertising team by providing advertising campaign insights to clients advertising on TiVo platforms. This position also collaborates with the Advertising Product & Operations teams to develop and report on KPIs, and provide internal reports required for business intelligence and financial reconciliation.
The Research Analyst uses proprietary first party data to analyze post-campaign performance on the product platforms, including CTV programmatic/direct deals and linear display guides. Performance metrics include impression delivery, and ad exposed program tune-in lift for linear, L3/L7 and VOD viewing. New CTV initiatives require digital linear and OTT metrics reporting through ad serving partners as well as Tivo proprietary UIs.
Responsibilities:
Produce monthly and quarterly internal reports including KPI and impression delivery and revenue by platform and partner/advertiser
Provide post-campaign metrics reports for all ad campaigns on Tivo platforms including IPG, recommendations carousel and CTV
Analyze set top box return path data for post-campaign insights including campaign ad exposure and tune-in lift for linear and delayed viewing
Prepare client facing PowerPoint presentations for post campaign insights
Collaborate with Sales, Engineering and Ad Operations teams to develop and improve campaign reporting capabilities
Skills: Requirements:
Experience in digital advertising including targeting and attribution; CTV video advertising would be a plus
Expertise in Excel including:
Functions such as if/and/or; look ups and index/match; sumif/ /countif/; sumproduct; formula errors; array formulas; pivot tables
Data querying from multiple files
VBA
Linear programming (solver, data tables)
Predictive modeling (regressions)
Forecasting (exponential smoothing, seasonality)
Ability to analyze raw data, interpret performance and summarize actionable insights
Familiarity with analytics and ad delivery platforms (Google Ad Manager, Tableau)
Detail oriented and self-motivated
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Team player who can collaborate across functions and business groups
