Job Description

As a Line Leader you will be responsible for managing the total operation of the production line to maximize performance within established safety, quality, and cost parameters.

The Line Leader will:

  • Serve as a customer liaison and ensure customer quality requirements are met
  • Analyze production data and identify opportunities for increased productivity and quality
  • Drive to key performance goals for production lines
  • Work with various departments on short term and long term projects

The Line Leader should have:

  • Proven ability to coach, mentor, energize, and engage hourly and salary team members
  • Strong desire and drive to learn new systems and processes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with MS Office, including experience using Excel for data analysis 
    Qualifications
    • High School diploma or equivalent is required
    • Bachelor’s degree (Production or Operations Management, Business, or related discipline) is preferred
    • 3-5 years experience supervising people and processes in a manufacturing environment
    • Previous glass industry experience is highly preferred
    • Experience with Lean Six Sigma preferred
    • Availability to support 24/7 operations

    What we offer at O-I:

    Salary Range:  The expected salary range for this position is between $85,000 - $100,000 and includes a possible 12% quarterly incentive bonus. Actual pay will be adjusted based upon candidate experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
