Job description


South Central Bank is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of a Full Time Title Insurance Administrator in their Ops Center. The Title Insurance Administrator will administrate operations for South Central Bank’s title company and operations related to the title company.


Duties for this position include:

  • Facilitate the issuance of title commitments and final title policies for mortgage loans.
  • Facilitate the order and review all title searches and placing of title insurance.
  • Organize work to ensure deadlines are achieved.
  • Promote good customer relations by ensuring problems are resolved promptly and efficiently.
  • Develop understanding of various tools and forms utilized in maintaining title operations.
  • Work with searchers, lenders, and closing attorneys in the mortgage loan process.
  • Assist with completion of all title-related loan documentation requirements.
  • Ensure all recordings are properly completed; assist in obtaining correction docs when required.
  • Maintain current knowledge of title activities, informing management of any changes in the industry direction or activities.

Requirements for this position are:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent documentation, organization and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of Windows applications (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Flexibility to adapt to high-volume periods and ability to work overtime when necessary.
