Job description

Are you interested in a new opportunity? Maybe you're looking for more flexibility, a career with more potential, or simply a new work family that actually has "fun" while they work. (life is too short to be serious all the time)
Maybe it's time for a SWITCH. At Switch Insurance Group (a division of Lifetime Insurance Services), we understand that our employees are essential to the success of our business. As an independent insurance agency, we help consumers find auto, home, and business insurance plans that meet their needs and budget.

Switch Insurance Group is an independent insurance agency that represents more than a dozen top-rated insurance companies. This gives us the ability to impartially shop the competition to find our client's the best deal.
Our agency is constantly adapting and we are huge advocates for technology. We believe in working smarter, not harder. In addition to owning Switch, our founder also owns a digital marketing and software company. This helps put us light years ahead of the "average" insurance agency.
Ok...you've made it this far. Let's talk about what you'll be doing on a daily basis and the skills you'll need to succeed.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Help consumers find the "right" insurance plan for their needs
  • Provide top-notch, friendly customer service via phone, email, and text
  • Service personal insurance policies

  • Check in with clients at renewal to ensure satisfaction with our agency

What Traits Are We Looking For?
  • Great Communicator: strong communication skills with a friendly, upbeat phone voice
  • Self-Driven: you know how to get the job done and don't need to be micromanaged
  • Work Ethic: you either have it or you don't...at Switch you need to have it
  • Tech Savvy: above-average computer skills or a quick "digital" learner
  • A Pulse: that's just a little test to see if you're still paying attention

Requirements:
  • Insurance license Goals(Property & Casualty)
    • You must have a goal of obtaining your property & casualty insurance license.
  • Experience in sales or insurance is preferred, but not required

Location: Shelby Twp, MI
Compensation: $33,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
