ROLE DESCRIPTION:

As a Customer Service Representative - State Farm Agent Team Member with Doug Valentine - State Farm Agent, you will generate the kind of exceptional client experiences that reinforce the growth of a successful insurance agency. Your attention to detail, customer service skills, and desire to help people make you an ideal fit. You will enhance your career while resolving customer inquiries, coordinating with other agency team members, and anticipating the needs of the community members you support.

We anticipate internal growth opportunities for especially driven and sales-minded candidates. Only candidates who meet the following criteria will be considered for this role:


1. Must be able to make the commute to our agency location in Cedar Rapids, IA. This is an in-office position.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Answer customer inquiries and provide policy information
  • Assist clients with policy changes and updates
  • Process insurance claims and follow up with clients
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Property and Casualty license (required)
  • Life and Health license (must be able to obtain)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to multitask
  • Previous customer service experience preferred
