Job description

Scioto Services, a Marsden Holding Company, is a facility services provider with an unmatched reputation for operational excellence. We clean, sanitize, and service large and small businesses across the Eastern United States. In a nutshell: we clean buildings... really well.
SUMMARY
Under the direction of the account or area manager, the supervisor is responsible for the daily cleaning of one or more buildings, including direct supervision and training of cleaning associates.
Core Responsibilities
  • Vacuum, sweep, mop floors
  • Empty Trash
  • High and low dusting
  • Clean and service restrooms, breakrooms, and conference and kitchen areas
  • Maintain employee timekeeping for 15-20 employees
  • Report maintenance issues of the facility and/or equipment to the Account Manager
  • Responsible for creating and following weekly schedules
  • Train assigned personnel on cleaning methods, procedures, and equipment
  • Provide work direction to personnel under the guidance of, and directed by, the manager
  • Perform routine inspections of work performed by cleaning personnel
  • Serve as backup for absent personnel

Skills Required
  • Knowledge of safety practices
  • Good time management
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Comfortable using a computer
  • Communicate effectively for training and scheduling

Other Requirements:
  1. You must be 18 years old
  2. Valid Drivers License, Auto Insurance REQUIRED
  3. A pre-employment drug screen, continuous motor vehicle monitoring, and criminal background check are required.
  4. 2-3 years supervisory experience
  5. Must be able to be counted and relied upon; be on time.
  6. Must agree to wear any and all necessary personal protective equipment.
  7. Possess the ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
