About the Position

Treston Security Services is hiring experienced Nightlife Security Officers to work at a high-energy, LGBTQ-friendly nightlife venue in West Hollywood.

This role requires officers who are confident, approachable, and skilled in de-escalation, crowd management, and access control. Officers must be comfortable working in fast-paced nightlife settings and interacting respectfully with diverse patrons.


Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all patrons and staff

  • Monitor entrances, exits, and crowd flow within the venue

  • Check IDs to verify age and prevent underage entry

  • Identify and professionally de-escalate conflicts or disruptive behavior

  • Enforce venue rules and safety policies consistently and respectfully

  • Respond quickly and calmly to incidents or emergencies

  • Work closely with venue management and local law enforcement when necessary

  • Complete brief incident reports as required


Qualifications & Requirements
  • Must be 21 years of age or older

  • Valid California BSIS Guard Card (Required)

  • Prior nightlife, club, or bar security experience required

  • Strong de-escalation and communication skills

  • Ability to remain calm and professional in high-energy or tense situations

  • Must be LGBTQ+ friendly and respectful at all times

  • Must be able to work weekends and late-night shifts

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in crowded environments
