In this role, you will partner closely with product, engineering, privacy, and business teamsat one of the most innovative companies in the worldto help launch new features, advise on emerging technologies, anddeliver on Amazon's commitment to delight customers.
Alexa sits at the intersection of artificial intelligence, voice technology, consumer devices, and digital services. As Associate Product Counsel, you will play a critical role in helping bring new products and features tocustomerswhile balancing innovation, customer trust, and legal risk

This is a unique opportunity to work on AI and consumer technology products while influencing legal strategy for one of Amazon's most recognizable and evolving businesses.

Key job responsibilities
- Serve asproduct counsel on strategic initiatives, product launches, and commercial mattersforthe Alexa business
- Advise product, engineering, and business teams on legal considerationsand risksrelated to AI-powered products, voice technology, consumer devices, and digital services
- Structure, draft, negotiate, and advise on complex technology, licensing, distribution, marketing, and commercial agreements
- Provide practical legal guidance in a wide range of areas, includingintellectual property, privacy, consumer protection, digital media, and regulatory compliance matters
- Counsel teams throughout the product lifecycle, from concept and development through launch and post-launch operations, including pre-litigation disputes and inquiries
- Developcreative, business-oriented solutionsand strategies to mitigate legal risk while supportinginnovation and growth
- Support the development of scalable legal frameworks and processes that enable rapid product development while maintaining customer trustand minimizing risk
- Collaborate cross-functionally witha wide variety of stakeholders, such asengineering, product management, privacy, public policy,andbusiness development.
