Accurately follow laws, rules and court policies and procedures. Communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Perform a wide variety of complex court-related clerical duties accurately.

Your Future in this Role: Throughout the onboarding process, you will meet with the Supervisors, teams, and the admin team regularly to discuss expectations, set goals, identify priorities, and gain familiarity with current policies, procedures, and strategic measures.

Core Daily Responsibilities: Records person and case information into DISCIS and other computer programs.

Processes and/or prepares warrants, citations, subpoenas, summonses, motions, notices, and other legal documents. Constructs and maintains case files and court records on which subsequent actions must be taken. Files correspondence, forms, invoices, receipts, documents and case files in alphabetical or numerical order and retrieves documents and case files.

Provides assistance to the public at the counter and on the phone involving application of the tasks in the assigned unit. Graduation from high school or equivalent, AND At least two years of clerical experience. Experience in a district or municipal court or legal office and JIS computer experience preferred. As a condition of employment, the applicant will need to authorize and complete a background check.
