This position reports to:

Project Operations Manager

In this role, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate leadership in communicating business goals, programs, and processes for an area or business segment. This position will oversee/manage the operational aspects of order management, procurement, document control, inventory and logistics mgmt., ensuring strict adherence to process. This position will utilize your experience/expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and your team, with the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals.
This is a hybrid position. Candidates can be based out of any of the following offices: Lake Mary, FL or Houston, TX
This role is contributing to the Electrification Solutions business in NAM.
You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Leading the continuous improvement initiatives by promoting methodologies, coaching, and process development across teams.

  • Ensuring projects are consistently supported and managed according to best practices and ABB policies, controls, and requirements.

  • Support business evolution, by developing and maintaining processes, procedures and change initiatives aligned with ABB policies.

  • Manages key operational functions and stakeholder relationships, including inventory, document control, procurement, and logistics and supplier escalations.


You will join a high performing, driven and collaborative team interested in growing, learning, and succeeding together.


Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Procurement or related field

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, manufacturing or supply chain in the Electrical Distribution business or related industry

  • 5+ years of experience working in a management/leadership role

  • Proven track record of mentoring & coaching team members to grow and increase overall effectiveness

  • Strong leadership qualities with proven strategical abilities and relationship building capabilities

  • Availability to travel (25%), possibly at short notice
