Leasing Specialist / Agent - Affordable Housing | Rochester, NY


Salary: $19.00 - $21.50 | Full Time | Monday-Friday | 40hrs

What You Bring as a Leasing Specialist


You bring warmth, attention to detail, and professionalism to every interaction:

  • 2+ years of apartment leasing experience preferred.
  • 1 year experience with affordable housing programs (LIHTC, HUD-Section 8, HOME, RD) required.
  • Familiarity with Fair Housing and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in Yardi or similar property management software.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
  • Basic math and data-entry abilities for rent collection and recordkeeping.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills are a plus.
  • High school diploma or GED required; COS or TCS certification desired or willingness to obtain.

Work schedules may include Saturdays, based on property performance needs such as occupancy levels, leasing activity, and rent collections.

When required, weekend coverage will be scheduled on a rotating basis and aligned with business priorities.
