Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Leasing Consultant to join our company. The Leasing Consultant is responsible for all aspects of the leasing process, from introducing properties to prospective tenants to periodic inspection of actively leased properties. As a successful Leasing Consultant, your goal is to achieve and maintain high occupancy rates and maximize profitability for clients. Responsibilities 
  • Advertise vacant properties
  • Show apartments to prospective tenants and inform them of all available amenities
  • Hold resident events
  • Qualify prospective tenants using background checks and references
  • Accept rental payments and provide receipts
  • Maintain deep knowledge of the local market and housing trends
  • Negotiate leasing terms and close deals
  • Inspect apartments and input work order requests
  • Provide administrative support and other duties as assigned by Community Manager
  • Follow all Equal Housing Opportunity guidelines, local laws, and company policies
Qualifications
  • Proven working experience in property management
  • High school diploma/GED required, 
  • Deep understanding of leasing practices
