Job description

All About You

The Project Manager is responsible for assuming overall responsibility for assigned projects and coordinating the activities of the assigned project team including all changes of scope for ongoing projects. The Project Manager identifies, manages and controls project risks to minimize exposure while meeting client needs and project budget. The role is accountable for revenue recognition, timely and accurate invoicing, and for eliminating disputes/past dues. The Project Manager reports progress on projects to all project stakeholders, internal and external. He/She oversees interaction with key suppliers and the ordering of materials for the project. The Project Manager ensures there is a clear understanding of the project Commercial and Technical requirements by the project team. He/She ensures QHSE standards are fulfilled during project execution and continuously reviews and improves project management processes and procedures in order to improve quality, cost, effectiveness, and work efficiency.

Requirements
  • Ensure the project is delivered on time and on budget
  • Execute project management tasks following processes and procedures defined in company's QMS
  • Lead project activities in the engineering, procurement, installation and commissioning, contracts, finance
  • Understand technical aspects of the project scope
  • Ensures contractual compliance, able to understand and follows the contract. Tracks communications and events with the client and suppliers.
  • Adherence with PM standards and business conduct guidelines (tax regulations, export control, HSE)
  • Timely project reporting and communication with identification of risks
  • Support sales, engineering and service team needs as required
  • Apply professional knowledge of EPC project delivery methods including expert working knowledge and understanding of all project management control systems (scheduling, estimating, cost control, procurement) with a good knowledge of Energy Storage Solutions
  • Apply strong leadership, motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across, and down multiple business and technology organizations with ability to negotiate and manage confrontation topics
  • Support pre-project efforts including estimation of time and effort and estimation of cost
  • Support and enforce all aspects of safety in the project
  • Continuous learning and adapting to new projects and scopes, new company products, and lessons learned
Responsibilities
  • BS in Engineering, or higher degree
  • At least 5 years of experience in Project management
  • Specific Knowledge of Lio-ion Technology, Battery Management Systems, Leadership.
  • Business Understanding: Energy Storage Systems, battery market, utilities, renewable power plants
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is a requirement
