Learning Program Manager/Customer Instructional Systems Designer (Instructional Design)

As a Learning Program Manager / Customer Instructional Designer for Software Training at Boeing, you will lead the design, development, and execution of comprehensive software training programs that enable our customers to effectively utilize Boeing software solutions. You will collaborate cross-functionally across software development teams, operations, and business units to identify learning needs and drive continuous improvement around training.
Your role will be instrumental in supporting learning around our industry leading aviation software products. You will act as a trusted advisor and program leader, managing the full learning lifecycle from strategy through rollout and evaluation, ensuring alignment with Boeing's operational goals and quality standards. This position will be located in Englewood, CO or Seattle, WA.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Lead the end-to-end development and delivery of high-impact software training programs, managing stakeholder alignment and priorities
  • Partner to develop and execute strategies to improve training effectiveness, operational performance, and return on investment
  • Partner with software development, operations, and support teams to identify knowledge gaps, analyze trends, and support business initiatives such as new software releases and regulatory compliance
  • Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to develop compliant, high-quality training content and materials
  • Communicate program goals, progress, and impact to stakeholders at all levels through clear written and verbal communication, including presentations to leadership
  • Establish and maintain frameworks for standardized training processes, including needs assessment, and content development
  • Manage webinars to enhance and optimize the customer learning experience through this delivery modality

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 10+ years of experience managing, designing, and implementing learning or training program in a technical or software environment
  • 10+ years of experience analyzing training needs and measuring program effectiveness using qualitative and quantitative data
  • 10+ years of program or project management experience leading end-to-end training program deliveries
  • 10+ years of experience collaborating with stakeholders, including internal leadership and external customers

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Familiarity with eLearning platforms, webinar tools, and learning management systems (LMS)
  • Strong data analysis skills to identify training needs and measure program impact
  • Expertise designing and managing scalable software training solutions aligned with business objectives and regulatory standards
  • Ability to balance training quality and cost considerations while meeting key performance indicators
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
