The Early Learning Coalition of Palm Beach County is looking for a Human Resources Manager to join our team!

We are a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to building a community-wide commitment to ensure every child is ready to succeed in school and life through comprehensive, high-quality early learning environments.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are seeking a motivated HR Manager to join our team. This role requires someone who is responsible for the administration of human resources, policies, programs, and functions including payroll, benefits, leave management, audit reviews, compliance, and related Human Resources duties required to run the department. This position requires a strong internal and external custoumer service focus.

PAYRATE: up to $65,000 per year commensurate with experience.

HOURS: This is a full-time position, and business hours at the Boynton location is Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Longer work hours will be required on certain days.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Administer human resources functions for the agency.
  • Review and verify timesheets, attendance records, FMLA entries prior to biweekly payroll execution.
  • Manage employee benefits programs (health, dental, vision, PTO) and handle life-status changes and open enrollment.
  • Develop, update and implement company policies to ensure compliance with employment regulations.
  • Ensure compliance within the appropriate regulatory framework (labor law, FLSA internal procedures, internal policies)
  • Ensure completion and compliance of all cycles of hire, termination, and transfer.
  • Oversee benefits and pension enrollment, changes, and termination.
  • Ensure adherence of benefits policies and processes related to short and long-term leave, PTO, FMLA,e tc.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from an accredited four-year college or university in HR and advanced human resources credentials or knowledge.
  • 3-5 years of progressive experience in HR and payroll administration, with demonstrated leadership abilities.
  • In-depth working knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
  • Working knowledge of HR and Payroll related software.
