Account Manager – Property & Casualty
Location: Hybrid - Local to Syracuse, New York

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as the primary service contact for assigned commercial lines clients
  • Handle service requests related to endorsements, renewals, and coverage changes
  • Manage requests related to quoting and binding activities
  • Provide clear explanations of coverages, recommendations, and policy comparisons to clients
  • Proactively anticipate client needs and support producers through responsive, high-touch service
  • Identify opportunities to round accounts, upsell, or cross-sell additional coverages
Operational Excellence
  • Maintain accurate client and policy documentation
  • Process endorsements, renewals, and policy updates efficiently and accurately
  • Ensure compliance with carrier and agency requirements
  • Manage multiple client priorities while meeting time-sensitive deadlines
  • Utilize agency management and rating systems to support daily servicing activities
  • Collaborate with carriers and internal teams to deliver timely service solutions
Strategic Contribution
  • Contribute to client retention and account growth initiatives
  • Develop strong relationships with clients and carrier partners
  • Support producers in delivering comprehensive insurance solutions

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1+ years of commercial insurance experience in an account management, sales, or marketing role
  • Active Commercial Lines license
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain insurance concepts clearly

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
