Job description

True North Classical Academy is growing, with locations in Kendall and Pinecrest. Our highly rated school is known across Florida for its dual emphasis on rigorous academics and character development. With this foundation of success, we’re excited to grow our Early Learning Centers for infants through VPK. We are seeking nurturing, patient, and creative early childhood educators to join our team and inspire our youngest learners.

Experience:

1-2 year experience working as a Lead or Teacher or Assistant in an Early Childhood education setting.

  • Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or FCCP
  • Must be VPK Certified for a lead teacher
  • Must hold or be eligible for a Professional Teaching Certificate in Early Childhood
  • Proficiency in English is essential, with strong skills in instructing, communicating, and engaging young learners effectively
  • First Aid and CPR Certified
  • Completed 45 hours of childcare training through the Department of Children and Families (DCF)
  • Ability to pass a Level II background check
  • Strong classroom management and instructional skills
  • Flexible, creative, and adaptive to individual learning needs
  • A nurturing, patient personality focused on creating a supportive, engaging environment for young learners

Work Schedule 

  • Monday - Friday

           8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

           9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
