The Role:
We are seeking a driven and passionate Learning and Development Specialist for our Las Vegas office. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, delivering and evaluating training programs to support a growing department.
As a Learning and Development Specialist, you will play a critical role in helping our employees become successful in their roles. You will be responsible for evaluating training needs and developing effective solutions that align with Company goals. Working with teams across the organization, this role is highly visible and has the opportunity to make a meaningful impact that contributes to the success of the organization.
What you'll be doing:
  • Apply instructional design methodology, adult learning theory and multimedia principles to create engaging and effective learning experiences for new hires, current employees and leaders.
  • Conduct needs analysis to determine training needs and select appropriate delivery methods (i.e. computer-based training, job-aids, videos, hybrid solutions, etc.).
  • Regularly conduct onsite and remote training sessions and create a culture of trust, collaboration, and respect in the training environment.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify needs and ensure content is accurate.
  • Support change management efforts by ensuring teams are trained effectively on new initiatives, tools, and workflows.
  • Consistently evaluate training programs based on employee feedback, performance metrics and identified knowledge/skills gaps to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Assist in the development, coordination, and execution of company-wide learning and development initiatives.
  • All other responsibilities assigned by management.

Requirements
What you Bring to the Table:
  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of prior experience in L&D, as a trainer, and/or supporting a training department with a track record of delivering effective training programs.
  • Experience with training tools and content creation/design tools such as Articulate. Canva, Adobe Suite, Synthesia, and Learning Management Systems.
  • Proficiency with Workplace tools such as Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Zoom, JIRA, and Slack.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills with a passion for helping others succeed.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Project management experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated understanding of instructional design methodology, adult learning theory and multimedia principles.
  • Prior call center experience preferred.
