Citizen Responsibilities: Develop and apply state-of-the-art machine learning (ML) tools and algorithms to optimize DoD chemical and biological detection and identification systems. Work as part of a government scientific research and development team developing and updating military sensors and detectors. Work with senior developers to create software applications in Python and apply machine learning techniques to improve the detection and identification of chemical and biological materials.

Develop, test, train, and maintain applications for developmental sensors and instrumentation. Develop and use tools to import, process, and store instrument and sensor datafiles for use in ML applications. Support field testing of systems, train users, and assess system performance.

Remain current on related subjects in the literature and news. Assist with the preparation of reports, journal articles, and presentations.
