Professional Development Specialist Description:
Develop, coordinate, implement, and evaluate processes to meet the educational, development and competency need of radiology and radiology support staff through effective use of a variety of learning activities. Required Qualifications:
- Minimum three years current applicable clinical experience in a health care setting required.
- Bachelor's health care related field degree required.
- Demonstrated ability to plan development activities that impact positive outcomes and performance required.
- Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills required.
- Demonstrated ability to instruct and collaborate with others required.
- Ability to solve complex problems through a well-ordered approach required.
- Knowledge of systems and change theory, individual, and group behaviors, teaching and learning principles, and research outcomes required.
- Ability to balance and prioritize diverse clinical and leadership responsibilities required.
- Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in Radiology required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's health care related field degree preferred.
