What is Learning Development Enablement?

Learning Development Enablement refers to the strategies, tools, and processes that support and enhance employee learning and professional growth within an organization. It involves designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs, as well as providing resources and technologies that empower employees to develop new skills. The goal is to create a culture of continuous learning and improvement that aligns with business objectives. Professionals in this field often collaborate with leadership and subject matter experts to ensure learning initiatives address organizational needs.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in Learning Development Enablement, and why are they important?

Success in Learning Development Enablement requires expertise in instructional design, adult learning principles, and program management, usually supported by a degree in education or HR and experience in training roles. Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS), e-learning authoring tools like Articulate or Captivate, and certifications such as CPLP or ATD are highly valued. Outstanding communication, collaboration, and adaptability distinguish top performers in this field. These competencies are essential for creating effective learning experiences that drive employee growth and organizational success.

How does a Learning Development Enablement professional typically collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to create effective training programs?

Learning Development Enablement professionals work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders by facilitating meetings, gathering insights on learning objectives, and ensuring content accuracy and relevance. They often act as a bridge between instructional designers, trainers, and business leaders to align training initiatives with organizational goals. Regular collaboration includes feedback sessions, pilot testing of materials, and iterative updates based on stakeholder input. This cross-functional teamwork helps ensure that training programs are engaging, current, and tailored to the needs of both learners and the business.

Are you a strategic problem solver with a passion for innovation who thrives on driving meaningful change in a fast-evolving technology environment? At AdvancedMD, we are driven by your success. AdvancedMD is seeking an ambitious, forward-thinking RCM AI Enablement Manager to join our Revenue Cycle Management team. The RCM AI Enablement Manager will serve as the primary bridge between operational excellence and emerging technology - identifying, evaluating, and accelerating the adoption of artificial intelligence across our RCM department to deliver tangible efficiency gains, cost savings, and improved outcomes for both internal teams and our client base.

At AdvancedMD, we engage your unique talents and perspectives. We welcome your ideas on how to do things differently and better. In your efforts to achieve, learn and grow, we support you all the way. If success motivates you, you belong at AdvancedMD. If you are a proactive, analytical team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about transforming how healthcare organizations operate through AI, we want to hear from you!

Essential Job Duties:

Process Analysis & AI Opportunity Identification:

  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of existing RCM processes - including billing, coding, claims management, denials, and collections - to identify high-impact opportunities for AI integration
  • Develop and maintain a prioritized roadmap of AI use cases, quantifying expected cost savings, efficiency gains, and quality improvements
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, technology, and finance teams to validate findings and secure alignment on prioritization
  • Establish baseline metrics and KPIs to measure the impact of AI initiatives over time

AI Education & Adoption Enablement:

  • Design and deliver training programs, workshops, and resources that build AI literacy and confidence across the RCM department
  • Serve as an internal champion and subject matter expert for AI tools and methodologies relevant to revenue cycle operations
  • Drive change management efforts to support smooth adoption of new AI-powered workflows, addressing team concerns and resistance proactively
  • Create and maintain accessible knowledge resources - guides, FAQs, and playbooks - to support ongoing team self-sufficiency

Product Intelligence & Strategic Planning:

  • Act as the primary RCM liaison for upcoming AI-related product releases, maintaining close relationships with product management and technology teams
  • Evaluate new product features for operational impact and develop actionable utilization plans specific to RCM workflows and client needs
  • Communicate upcoming changes and opportunities to RCM leadership and staff in a timely and clear manner
  • Partner with client-facing teams to develop strategies for introducing and supporting AI capabilities within the client base
  • Perform other duties as needed and directed by leadership

What You'll Need to Get the Job Done:

  • 3+ years of experience in Revenue Cycle Management, healthcare operations, or related fields
  • Demonstrated familiarity with AI, machine learning concepts, or automation tools as applied in a healthcare or technology environment
  • Proven ability to analyze complex processes and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Strong communication and presentation skills; able to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects or change management initiatives
  • Familiarity with AI/ML tools such as natural language processing (NLP), robotic process automation (RPA), or predictive analytics
  • Background in training development or instructional design

What Will Make us LOVE You

  • Experience with RCM platforms, practice management software, or health IT systems (AdvancedMD experience a plus)
  • Healthcare industry certifications (e.g., CRCR, CPC, or similar)
  • Strategic thinker who identifies patterns and opportunities others may overlook, connecting daily operations to longer-term organizational goals
  • Ability to drive adoption and behavior change through education, trust-building, and clear value articulation
  • Self-starter comfortable working with data to build a business case and measure outcomes
  • Ability to work independently and as a contributing collaborator in a fast-evolving AI landscape
