Program Overview:

Commercial Bankingprovidescredit, treasury management, and corporate and investment banking solutions to businesses withsalesgenerallygreaterthan$25million.TheCommercial Banking Early Career Development Program isa two-year program where you will gain exposure to the various Commercial Banking lines of business and their partners while supporting dedicated teams through four six-month rotations.The program will promote professional development andbusinessskillsacquisition throughon-the-jobexperience as well as formal in-person and virtual training, including afoundationalintroduction to credit andbankingfundamentals.

In the Commercial Banking Early Career DevelopmentProgram,you will:

Rotate across severalCommercial Bankingbusinessareastoacquirediverse experiencesandinsightsas well asdeterminethe roles that align to your career interests.You may be involved in sales, credit,product,or strategic activitiessuch as:

  • Participating in the sourcing, structuring, underwriting, and execution of low complexity multi-million-dollar credit transactions asan active member of the deal team.

  • Conductingdue diligence, analyzing financial statements, building financial models, anddeterminingrisk ratings to preparecomprehensive memos that support credit recommendations.

  • Leveraging market, industry, and company research and analysis along with product knowledge to ensure the success ofbusiness development efforts.

  • Receiving direction from supervisorsandexercisingindependent judgment and accountability while working withteams ona variety of tasks, including compliance and risk management responsibilities.

  • Collaborating and consulting with colleagues and managers to complete deliverables, resolve issues, and help deliver businessinitiatives, communications, and other materials to internal stakeholders and clients.

ProgramStructure:

You will begin the program in one of our ten regional locations. Following the foundational training, you will enter your first of four six-month rotations in selectbusiness areas over the course of two years.

The Commercial Banking Early Career Development Program is designed topromotea long-term career at Wells Fargothrough broad exposure to the business and its career paths as well as professional and technical development.After successfully completing the program, analystswill be prepared for amultitude of roles, including Relationship Manager, Business Development Officer, Portfolio Manager, Business ExecutionConsultant,Credit Product Sales Specialist,Credit Product Portfolio Specialist,andothers.
