About the Role
We are seeking a caring and dependable Toddler Assistant Teacher to support our early childhood program. This role works closely with the Lead Teacher to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for toddlers while assisting with daily routines and learning activities.
The ideal candidate is patient, attentive, and passionate about supporting children's growth during the toddler years.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Lead Teacher with daily classroom activities, lessons, and play-based learning.
  • Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
  • Support toddlers with feeding, diapering, and nap routines.
  • Encourage social, emotional, cognitive, and motor skill development.
  • Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities.
  • Assist with preparing learning materials and classroom setup.
  • Observe and document child progress and developmental milestones.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to maintain a positive and nurturing classroom.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience working with toddlers or in a childcare/preschool setting preferred.
