Salary range: $32K to $48K depending on experience, depending on relevant restaurant, customer service, leadership, and/or kitchen experience. Final rate will be based on experience, availability, position, and business needs.

Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers® was co-founded in 2002 by brothers Bill and Randy Simon with their friend and business partner, Scott Redler. It was named in honor of Bill and Randy’s father. Together, they built a brand focused on quality, hospitality, cleanliness and timeless traditions.

Freddy's is looking for experienced managers who are passionate about guest relations, employee development and business growth. Assistant Manager Responsibilities  

  • Build relationships with guests, handle guest issues.
  • Serve as a model of Leadership to all Team Members.
  • Assist the General Manager to control labor and food costs.
  • Ensure Freddy's standard of Hospitality, Quality and Cleanliness. 
  • Assist GM in maintaining the overall efficiency and operations of the restaurant.

Assistant Manager Qualifications

  • Always focused on profits and sales growth.

  • Prior restaurant management or leadership experience.
  • Proficient in typical desktop software/application/programs.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
  • Successful history of quality guest service, team building and development of people.
  • Ability to motivate, train and hold responsible diverse staff in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards while managing time and priorities efficiently.
  • Experience in setting and maintaining inventory, schedules, spreadsheets, and labor management.
  • Experience in sales/activity reports, or other performance data to measure productivity or goal achievement.

Physical Demands

  • Stand for extended periods during shifts. 
  • Follow proper lifting and safety procedures. 
  • Bend, reach, and pick up supplies or trash as needed. 
  • Carry products, boxes, and supplies weighing up to 60 pounds.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 15 pounds frequently.
