Job description

ABOUT THIS POSITION

As a LX Content Manager, you'll play a central role in helping Aceable students earn their licenses and reach their next life goal by writing and maintaining the course content our students rely on.

We build courses from a library of reusable, linked content and AI-assisted workflows that help our team move faster without sacrificing quality. You'll work within that system daily, using it to draft, adapt, and refine content faster.

This is a writing role, but you'll also bring systems thinking and fluency with AI tools to produce clear, accurate, on-brand learning content efficiently at scale.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Research, write, and maintain original educational course content across Aceable's licensing verticals, following established content templates, style guides, and state-specific playbooks
  • Update and improve existing courses to reflect regulatory changes, quality improvements, and evolving instructional standards
  • Learn and work with Aceable's proprietary course management tools and AI-assisted content workflows to author and manage curriculum.
  • Collaborate with designers on content creation, including infographics, scenario illustrations, animations, and study guides
  • Use and help maintain Aceable's brand voice, tone, and style guidelines across all content you produce
  • Identify opportunities to create great work efficiently, with an eye toward scalability and reuse across states and verticals
  • Work cross-functionally to support content creation for Aceable.com, including articles and landing page copy aligned with our course expertise
  • Participate in editorial review cycles, incorporating feedback from coworkers and stakeholders

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • 3+ years of writing and/or content management experience in a consumer-facing, educational, or regulated content environment
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal — you are clear, accurate, and engaging
  • Fluency with AI tools, with a thoughtful sense of how and when to use AI to produce better work more efficiently
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply brand voice, style guidelines, and content frameworks
  • Comfortable working within structured production systems and templates while still bringing creativity to the work
  • Organized and self-directed, with the ability to manage multiple writing projects across different subjects simultaneously
  • Collaborative mindset combined with the ability to work independently on long-term writing projects
  • Systems-oriented thinking — you look for ways to reuse and scale content rather than solving each piece from scratch.

 BONUS POINTS

  • Experience with content management systems or course authoring tools
  • Familiarity with instructional design principles or adult learning theory
  • Domain knowledge in any of our verticals: insurance, mortgage, real estate, or drivers ed

ABOUT ACEABLE

We're proud that our students consistently outperform competitors on pass rates.

We move fast, ship to real students in weeks, and give our people genuine end-to-end ownership. If you want to build something that directly helps people start new careers (and have fun doing it) you're going to fit right in.

ABOUT THE LEARNING EXPERIENCE TEAM

In close collaboration with the product team, we strive to create effective, user-centric online courses. We learn fast, pivot quickly, and create products to drive the best outcomes for the largest number of students.
