JOB TITLE: Corporate Trainer

REPORTS TO: Training & Development Manager

JOB PURPOSE: The Corporate Trainer is responsible for delivering engaging new hire training programs and helping employees build the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to succeed in their roles. This role focuses on facilitating existing training programs, coaching learners, tracking progress, and becoming a subject matter expert in company processes and training content.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Strategy and Planning:
  • Develop and implement the learning and development strategy in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Create a positive and engaging learning environment for new employees.
  • Ensure trainees understand company policies, procedures, systems, and expectations.
  • Program Design and Delivery:
  • Learn and maintain a strong understanding of all assigned training materials.
  • Deliver engaging and effective training programs, workshops, and e-learning courses.
  • Utilize a variety of instructional techniques and formats, such as role-playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, and lectures.
  • Ensure training materials are up-to-date, relevant, and aligned with current best practices and industry standards.
  • Track attendance, participation, assessments, and completion records.
  • Evaluation and Improvement:
  • Implement evaluation methods to assess the effectiveness and impact of training programs.
  • Identify learners who may need additional support or clarification.
  • Provide constructive feedback and reinforce key concept.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Work closely with senior leadership, HR, and department heads to identify and address learning needs.
  • Partner with subject matter experts to deliver/enhance specialized training content.
  • Build strong relationships with external training providers and vendors.
  • Technology and Innovation:
  • Leverage learning technologies and tools to enhance the delivery and effectiveness of training programs.
  • Stay current with emerging trends and innovations in learning and development.
  • Implement and manage Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other e-learning platforms.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Preferred minimum of 1 - 3 years of experience in learning and development
  • Proven experience in delivering training initiatives or programs.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
