AAPI Leadership Cohort โ€” Professional Development Internship


Arizona Asian Chamber of Commerce | Phoenix, AZ

Program Period: September 2026 โ€“ February 2027


The Arizona Asian Chamber of Commerce is seeking emerging leaders to participate in our AAPI Leadership Cohort, a six-month professional development internship designed to help participants build leadership skills, expand their professional networks, and engage directly with established leaders shaping Arizona.


This is an opportunity to learn from and alongside experienced professionals across Arizonaโ€™s business, government, nonprofit, entrepreneurship, and community sectors.


What Youโ€™ll Do


Selected cohort members will:


  • Participate in six monthly leadership development sessions
  • Be paired with an experienced mentor and established Arizona leader
  • Learn directly from executives, entrepreneurs, nonprofit leaders, government representatives, and community advocates
  • Participate in discussions focused on leadership, professional development, communication, and community impact
  • Build relationships with a network of emerging AAPI professionals and established Arizona leaders
  • Collaborate with fellow cohort members on a community-focused capstone project
  • Gain experience developing ideas, working collaboratively, and presenting solutions
  • Participate in Arizona Asian Chamber events and community programming
  • Receive a Certificate of Completion from the Arizona Asian Chamber of Commerce
