We're partnering with a school district in Maricopa County, AZ to hire a dedicated School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 school year.
In this role, you will support students by promoting academic achievement, social-emotional development, and overall well-being through assessment, intervention, and collaboration with educators, families, and support staff. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in creating inclusive, supportive learning environments that help all students succeed.
Position Details:
  • Location: Onsite in Maricopa County, AZ (no remote options available)

  • Schedule: Full-time, 4 days per week

  • School Year: 2026-2027

  • Grade Level(s): Elementary
Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct support services to students of all ages with mental health needs identified on their IEPs, including individual counseling, group sessions, and social skills development.

  • Support the development and implementation of Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).

  • Provide crisis support as needed within the school environment.

  • Conduct evaluations in the social-emotional domain and participate in IEP development and documentation.

  • Deliver both direct and indirect services for students requiring interventions across teams at two elementary school buildings.

  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student growth and well-being.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Psychology or a related field

  • Active School Psychologist certification via the Arizona Department of Education (ADE)

  • Demonstrated experience providing school-based counseling, evaluations, and behavioral interventions

  • Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with a passion for supporting student success and emotional well-being
