Job Description & Summary

The Opportunity
As a Delivering Deal Value (DDV) Intern, you will engage in projects that focus on post-merger integration and value realization, helping businesses capture synergies, optimize operations, and drive successful integration outcomes. As an Intern, you will support teams and participate in projects, focusing on learning and gaining exposure to PwC's practices. You will perform basic tasks and conduct research while observing professional work environments, contributing to the team's success.
In this role within our Advisory practice, you will have the chance to work on a variety of assignments, each presenting unique challenges and scope. You will be encouraged to ask questions, take initiative, and produce quality work that adds value for our clients. This opportunity allows you to start establishing your personal brand, paving the way to more opportunities. You will gain exposure to the full transaction lifecycle, including deal strategy, diligence, execution, and post-deal value creation, all while developing your skills in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Supporting teams in delivering comprehensive deal value services, focusing on post-merger integration and value realization
- Participating in the analysis of business processes to identify opportunities for optimization and value creation
- Assisting in the development of strategies for operational improvement and synergy analysis during mergers and acquisitions
- Engaging in client management activities to foster strong relationships and facilitate successful integration outcomes
- Contributing to carve-out planning and operational separation efforts in divestiture projects
- Collaborating with advisory consultants to provide strategic advice and due diligence support for business transactions
- Observing and learning from experienced professionals to gain exposure to PwC's practices and methodologies
- Applying a learning mindset to develop skills in business administration and change management
What You Must Have
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree
- Client service intern positions are entry-level and job seekers are traditionally either in their 3rd year of a 4 year degree program or in the 4th year of a 5 year program. Client service interns typically join us during the winter/spring or summer prior to their intended graduation year
What Sets You Apart
- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Management Information Systems, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering & Operations Research, Industrial Engineering and Management, Computer Science, Data Analytics
