Help Walmart Marketplace Sellers expand globally, with a focus on Mexico and emerging markets. Join Walmart as a Manager, Business Development – International Marketplace, where you’ll help high-potential Marketplace Sellers grow across borders and reach millions of customers. In this role, you’ll drive seller acquisition, build and manage a strategic pipeline, and support sellers as they enter Mexico and other emerging markets. You’ll collaborate with teams across account management, fulfillment, advertising, and channel partnerships to create a seamless go-to-market experience and help sellers succeed on Walmart’s Global Marketplace. 
About the team:
The Business Development team at Walmart’s International Marketplace focuses on expanding seller presence across emerging markets, including Mexico. This team drives strategic seller acquisition and pipeline management while collaborating closely with account management, fulfillment, advertising, and channel partnerships. Together, they create seamless go-to-market experiences that support sellers’ growth and success. The team values accountability, adaptability, and data-driven decision-making to meet business objectives. Members work cross-functionally to foster strong relationships, promote continuous improvement, and deliver impactful results that align with Walmart’s commitment to integrity and customer-centric solutions.
What you'll do:
  • Lead category seller acquisition for Mexico and other emerging markets.
  • Identify, build and manage a high-quality pipeline of strategic sellers.
  • Own the sales process from prospecting and pitching through negotiation, closing, and launch.
  • Advise sellers on market entry, operations, fulfillment, advertising, and localization.
  • Partner across Walmart teams to deliver a seamless go-to-market experience.
  • Build executive relationships and develop growth plans that drive measurable results.
  • Represent Walmart Marketplace at industry events and external meetings.
  • Share seller feedback and market insights to improve strategy, products, and processes.
  • Use data, market intelligence, and AI tools to increase productivity and accelerate growth.
  •  Domestic and international travel as needed.

What you'll bring:
  • Proven experience in business development, consultative sales, or seller acquisition.
  • A strong track record of building pipelines, negotiating deals, and delivering growth.
  • Experience in eCommerce, marketplaces, cross-border trade, logistics, SaaS, or platform businesses.
  • The ability to navigate ambiguity, create structure, and execute with urgency.
  • Strong relationship-building and executive communication skills.
  • Experience leading cross-functional work and influencing internal and external partners.
  • A data-driven approach to prioritization, market research, and decision-making.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities across markets and time zones.
  • A bachelor’s degree and relevant experience in business, eCommerce, marketing, merchandising, or a related field.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
