  • Lead a quality team with multi-site operational oversight, including responsibility for departmental budget, performance, and development.
  • Champion continuous improvement by reducing internal defects, scrap, and waste while improving product reliability and supplier quality.
  • Develop and implement robust quality systems, procedures, and metrics that support process control and product excellence.
  • Lead root cause analysis and Corrective & Preventive Action (RC-CAPA) initiatives using Six Sigma tools and statistical methods.
  • Serve as the ISO 9001 Management Representative, guiding compliance efforts and audits while embedding ISO standards into daily operations.
  • Act as a trainer and mentor in Six Sigma, ISO, and Total Quality Management methodologies across all levels of the organization.
  • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to support product development, including design reviews and CTQ analysis.
  • Support lean initiatives, FMEAs, control plans, PPAPs, and DOE projects that deliver measurable improvements in quality and cost.

Required Qualifications
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification required; Lean Six Sigma Black Belt highly preferred.
  • Proven leadership experience in high-volume, medium-mix industrial manufacturing environments.
  • 5+ years of quality management experience with a track record of driving measurable results in quality, cost, and process performance.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in statistical analysis, sampling schemes, and use of tools like Minitab.
  • Deep understanding of quality systems including FMEA, Control Plans, PPAP, and DOE.
  • Effective communicator and strategic thinker with exceptional team leadership and coaching abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ASQ certifications (CQE, CQM) preferred.
  • Experience with TL9000, 1E Nuclear Quality Systems, or similar industry standards.
  • Experience leading ISO 9001 implementations or acting as a lead auditor.
  • Finance-savvy: able to manage operational budgets and calculate Cost of Quality (CoQ).
