Job Title: Manufacturing Coordinator

Department: Manufacturing

Reports to: Operations Manager

FLSA status: Exempt/Salary

SUMMARY

The position of Manufacturing Coordinator works with various departments and with peers to plan, schedule, and coordinate production to ensure and Customer objectives are met.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • 2-5 years related experience in medium to high volume production.

  • Associates degree in business administration, supply chain management, or technical discipline preferred.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS STATEMENT

  • Coordinate, schedule and ensure execution of orders within assigned department, keeping Focus Factory Manager aware of all issues.

  • Coordinate and interface with supply chain and operations to provide lead times for quotes and orders for assigned areas.

  • Develops production plans in assigned areas to balance supply and demand and assure customer objectives are met.

  • Coordinate, schedule and ensure execution of orders with other focus factories as applicable.

  • Completes or assures completion of make item part setup, release and control of work authorization, and completion of inventory transactions within assigned department.

  • Coordinate with focused factory personnel in identifying and communicating supply chain issues.

  • Adhere to guidelines and procedures proscribed by ISO 9001.

  • All other functions/responsibilities assigned by manager.

  • Complies with all policies and standards.

  • Basic Algebra knowledge a plus.

REQUIRED TRAINING

All required training is determined by the department supervisor and/or manager. Procedures critical to this position can be identified as such on the Department Training Matrixes which are located in the Human Resources Department.
