Administrative Leader Associate Program โ€“ External Candidate Development Opportunity
ย 

NorthBay Health is seeking experienced leaders from industries outside of healthcare who demonstrate exceptional customer service, ย strong business acumen, and high potential for leadership growth within a dynamic healthcare environment. This unique opportunity begins with a structured ย six (6) month leadership program designed specifically for individuals without prior healthcare experience. The program provides immersive, hands-on exposure to healthcare operations while building operational, strategic, and leadership capabilities within our mission-driven organization.

This experiential learning opportunity combines real-time exposure, active participation, and meaningful contributions to real-life healthcare operations.ย ย ย  The Associate will meet, interact, observe and be exposed to real-life business situations as well as contribute to work product. The Associate will interact with staff, physicians, executives and leaders in the organization, participating in activities and initiatives related to operations practice and supporting strategic initiatives as they relate to continuity of service, compliance, regulatory and professional standards, fostering collaborative interdisciplinary relationships. Additional duties will be assigned based on level of understanding of practice management responsibilities. Will have hands on opportunities to perform work as well as completing a capstone project to successfully complete this program.

This program is designed to identify and foster promising candidates the opportunity to develop skills in operations management, strategic implementation, and work in dynamic live situations in the healthcare operations and corporate environments.

Upon completion of the program, Associates will be eligible for preferential consideration of available and upcoming leadership opportunities within NorthBay Health. ย Graduates will be given special guidance and assistance to further their career in leadership at NorthBay Health. The purpose of this program is to invest in high potentials with a desired outcome to develop leaders that will transition into our culture, initiatives and organization supporting our growth and to further our mission, values and goals.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development

  • Learn and apply core leadership principles, including communication, performance management, and team motivation.

  • Support team leads/supervisors in daily operations, providing guidance and assisting with problem-solving.

  • Act as a role model by demonstrating professionalism, accountability, and a positive attitude.

Operational & Project Responsibilities

  • Participate in rotational assignments across multiple departments to gain broad organizational knowledge.

  • Assist with planning, organizing, and executing department initiatives.
