Kestra Financial is executing a multi-year transformation to modernize and scale its Salesforce ecosystem across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Financial Services Cloud (FSC), Marketing Cloud, and AI-enabled capabilities. The Lead Technical Architect will serve as the principal technical authority, responsible for designing, implementing, and governing complex Salesforce solutions and integrations that meet enterprise standards for scalability, security, and performance.
This role partners closely with solution architects, engineering teams, DevOps, data teams, and third-party vendors to deliver robust technical designs, integration frameworks, and automation strategies that enable advisor-centric experiences and operational efficiency.
What you'll Do:
  • Own the technical architecture for Salesforce multi-cloud implementations (FSC, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and AI capabilities), ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and best practices.
  • Define technical patterns for integrations (API-first, middleware, ETL) between Salesforce and enterprise systems (data lake, 3rd-party applications, legacy platforms).
  • Establish and enforce coding standards, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices for Salesforce development.
  • Optimize platform performance, data integrity, and security through robust technical designs and governance.
  • Collaborate with solution architects to translate business requirements into technical specifications and implementation plans.
  • Lead technical design sessions, code reviews, and troubleshooting for complex Salesforce components.
  • Implement advanced automation, orchestration, and AI-driven workflows using Salesforce Einstein and compliant Generative AI solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to compliance frameworks (FINRA, SEC, GDPR) and Salesforce security models.
  • Oversee technical delivery by internal dev teams and external vendors, ensuring quality and scalability.
  • Maintain technical documentation, integration diagrams, and architecture blueprints.
  • Lead and manage a team of developers/engineers in a high-performance environment, mentoring and growing development talent.
  • Drive innovation by evaluating emerging Salesforce technologies, DevOps tools, and AI capabilities.

What You Bring:
  • 8+ years of Salesforce technical architecture and development experience.
  • Deep expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs.
  • Strong experience with multi-cloud implementations (FSC, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Data, Cloud, Marketing Cloud).
  • Experience designing and implementing AI-powered solutions using Salesforce Einstein, Agent frameworks, LLM integrations, and emerging AI protocols.
  • Proven ability to design and implement complex integrations using APIs, middleware, and ETL tools.
  • Expertise in Salesforce security models, sharing rules, and data architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with DevOps tools (Copado, Azure DevOps) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise integration patterns and API-first architecture.
  • Experience in wealth management, broker-dealer, or similarly regulated industries.
  • Salesforce certifications preferred: Technical Architect (CTA), Application Architect, System Architect, Platform Developer I/II.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks (FINRA, SEC, GDPR) and data governance.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to lead technical teams in a matrixed environment.
  • Passion for technology innovation, automation, and AI-driven solutions.
