Job Summary:

Under general supervision, the Senior Logistics Engineer is responsible for applying quantitative methods and engineering techniques to solve complex maintenance productivity, asset reliability, and cost performance problems while adding value to the organization. This role partners with internal teams to understand the parameters of high-impact maintenance initiatives, translating requirements into optimal solutions.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze large, complex historical datasets to support the development and refinement of maintenance labor assumptions, productivity benchmarks, and performance metrics
  • Incorporate automation and AIenabled analytics approaches to improve efficiency and speed of maintenance analysis where possible
  • Build and maintain costbenefit and scenario models to support maintenance facility planning, capacity analysis, and network optimization efforts
  • Analyze equipment domiciles, service demand, and travel requirements to evaluate total cost and service coverage tradeoffs
  • Facilitate strategic evaluations by preparing databacked comparisons under varying operational assumptions
  • Identify and develop solutions to improve labor productivity, repair variability, and asset performance using technical and quantitative methods; perform root cause and diagnostic analysis to explain performance variation and identify actionable improvement opportunities
  • Lead collaborations with cross-functional teams to create and implement solutions, ensuring analytical changes are accurately implemented in reporting tools and operational systems
  • Connect with internal teams to understand stakeholder needs
  • Interpret business issues and requirements to provide optimal solutions
  • Tailor communication of technical information to audiences, translating data into business-focused conclusions for leaders
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of business processes and experience to create or improve solutions
  • Lead and/or support projects to accomplish business goals
  • Train, mentor, coach, and onboard junior team members

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Management, or related field, or foreign equivalent, or suitable combination of education, experience, and training with 5 years of experience in Industrial Engineering or related field
  • AND Demonstration of the following
  • Experience in data visualization software, statistics, operations research, linear programming, forecasting, predictive modeling, relational databases, SQL, and/or cloud-based analytics platforms

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting maintenance, reliability, or assetintensive operations
  • Exposure to automation, AIassisted analytics, or advanced statistical methods
  • Background in continuous improvement or operational analysis

Compensation:

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include skills, education, experience, geography, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position may be eligible for annual bonus and incentives based on profitability or volumes in accordance with the terms of the Company's bonus and incentive plans, as applicable and in effect from time to time.
