Job description

The Logistics Engineer designs and improves supply chain systems to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. This role involves analyzing current logistics processes, developing innovative solutions, and implementing new technologies to optimize the movement and storage of goods. This role will partner with different departments and stakeholders to identify, implement and achieve operational efficiency.
YOUR TASKS
  • Utilize data analytics to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement within the production process.
  • Using Data analytics to create greenfield solutions or optimizing brownfield.
  • Develop data-driven solutions to optimize operational workflows and material handling systems.
    Analyze current processes and workflows to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices.
    Design and optimize material flow strategies to ensure efficient and timely movement of materials.
  • Collaborate with procurement, inventory, and production teams to streamline supply chain operations.
    Identify opportunities for automation to enhance productivity and reduce manual labor.
  • Evaluate and implement automation technologies, including robotics and automated systems.
    Analyze labor requirements and forecast headcount needs based on production demands.
  • Develop staffing plans to ensure optimal workforce utilization.
    Lead and manage cross-functional projects to drive process improvements and operational excellence.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.

YOUR PROFILE
    Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field with at least 5-7 years of experience.
    Proven experience in data analytics, process improvement, and material flow management.
    Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
    Experience with automation technologies and systems integration.
    Proficient in AutoCAD.
    Proficient in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, PowerBI,) and process mapping for operational processes.
    Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
    Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
    Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with robotics and advanced automation technologies.
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field preferred.
  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma or related continuous improvement methodologies preferred.
  • Experience with ERP systems and inventory management software preferred.
